Sand filter :

Provide the quantity of FILTER DESCALER required:

  • Family pool: 1 liter for 75 kg of filter material.
  • Public swimming pool: 20 liters for 2-3000 kg of filtering mass.

Wash the filter (Back Wash) and stop filtration in this position.

  • Pour FILTER DESCALER into the pump pre-filter, then run the pump for a short time (10 to 20 seconds), just to propel the product through the filtering mass, until the blue color appears in the indicator light .
  • Variation: pour the product directly into the open filter, on the sand, after having taken the precaution of bringing the water level to the level of the sand.
  • Filtration stopped, leave the product to act for at least one hour, if possible overnight or half a day.
  • After the cleaning action of DETARTRANT FILTRE, start washing again and rinse the filter thoroughly until the color has completely disappeared.

Diatomaceous earth filter or cartridge filter:

Recommended wearing of gloves, apron, glasses.

  • The fabrics and the fabric support candles or the cartridges will be immersed in a container filled with FILTER DESCALER diluted to 10%.
  • Leave on for at least 1 hour then brush and rinse.

Collective swimming pools:

  • 20 liters for 2-3000 kg of filter media.
